OUR MISSION

Why we created FlowingWaveYoga

We created FlowingWaveYoga because we saw the same pattern over and over again.

People were trying—showing up, taking classes, following workouts—but not seeing the progress they were looking for.

Not because they weren't capable… but because they didn't have a clear, structured path.

There was too much randomness. Too much guesswork. And not enough intention behind how the body actually builds strength, flexibility, and mobility over time.

So we created something different. A system that brings everything together—in a way that's simple, progressive, and designed for real life.

Meet Julia & Lalai

Meet Julia

Julia brings a thoughtful and structured approach to every session, helping students build strength in a way that feels safe, intentional, and progressive. With advanced training from Yogi Flight School, she specializes in arm balances and inversions, guiding students to approach these practices with clarity, technique, and confidence.

She has a natural ability to break down movement and poses in a precise and accessible way, making even complex skills feel within reach. Known for meeting students exactly where they are, Julia gently guides them beyond their comfort zone with care and encouragement, creating a supportive space for growth.

Her teaching is rooted in the belief that confidence is built through understanding. Julia's goal is to help you feel more at home in your body—not only during practice, but in the way you move through everyday life. Through her work, she emphasizes consistency over intensity, encouraging sustainable progress and long-term transformation.

Lalai

Rooted in the discipline of classical dance and enriched by the fluidity of yoga, Lalai's work lives at the intersection of strength, mobility, and flexibility. Her approach to movement has been shaped through years of professional performance and artistic refinement with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Cuban Ballet of Havana, Cuba.

As a 500-hour registered yoga teacher, Lalai specializes in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga, guiding students to explore the full depth of their physical potential with precision, awareness, and control. Her teaching extends beyond movement into the subtle practices of meditation and pranayama, supporting a deeper connection between breath, body, and mind.

Through her work, Lalai creates a space where discipline meets fluidity—empowering students to cultivate resilience, balance, and embodied presence both on and off the mat.
